Baggage Allowance of 10 Major Airlines from Saudi Arabia to Asia

We have compiled the baggage allowance allowed by different airlines from Saudi Arabia to Asia in this article. When expatriates travel back to their country for vacation or final exit or they are coming back from vacation or entering to Saudi Arabia for the first time, they need to carry a lot of belongings. In other words, they need enough baggage allowance. Sometimes baggage allowance itself can be the difference between choosing one airline and rejecting the other one. For example, we know that Fly NAS Airline does not offer good amount of baggage allowance. This is the reason it is not a choice of many of the families travelling from and to Saudi Arabia. Please find below the baggage allowance of major airlines to Asian countries.



  1. Saudi Airlines – 46 KG - You have two options for baggage allowance from Saudi Airlines to Asian countries. Either you can carry one bag of 32 Kg or you can carry two bags of 23 Kg each. In this way, 46 Kg baggage allowance is given by Saudi Airline. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  2. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) – 40 KG – Pakistan International Airlines gives baggage allowance of 40Kg to their customers while travelling from and to Saudi Arabia. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  3. Qatar Airways – 30 KG – Qatar Airways gives baggage allowance of 30Kg to their customers while travelling from and to Saudi Arabia. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  4. Emirates Airlines – 30 KG -  Emirates Airline gives baggage allowance of 30Kg to their customers while travelling from and to Saudi Arabia. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  5. Gulf Air – 30 KG -  Gulf Air gives baggage allowance of 30Kg to their customers while travelling from and to Saudi Arabia. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 6 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  6. Etihad Airways – 30 KG -  Etihad Airways gives baggage allowance of 30Kg to their customers while travelling from and to Saudi Arabia. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  7. Philippine Airlines – 46 KG -  You have two options for baggage allowance from Philippine Airlines to Asian countries. Either you can carry one bag of 30 Kg or you can carry two bags of 23 Kg each. In this way, 46 Kg baggage allowance is given by Saudi Airline. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  8. Kuwait Airways – 20 KG - Kuwait Airways gives baggage allowance of 20Kg to their customers while travelling from and to Saudi Arabia. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  9. Air India – 30 KG – Air India gives baggage allowance of 30Kg to their customers while travelling from India to Saudi Arabia and 40KG while travelling from Saudi Arabia to India. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
  10. Biman Bangladesh Airlines – 25 KG – Biman Bangladesh Airlines gives baggage allowance of 25Kg to their customers while travelling from Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia and 35KG while travelling from Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh. There is no restriction for the number of bags. One bag of 7 KG for hand carry is allowed.
