Hence, it meets visitors all year round. During Hajj, there is a special terminal that is used in Jeddah. This terminal is only opened for 6 weeks during the year which is made of 210 fiberglass tents and completely open air. Despite being located in the desert, the system is such that it can cool the desert air by 50 degrees. The Architecture has been applauded by the American Institute of Architects as well.
