King Salman ranked most powerful person in the Arab World - Forbes

King Salman, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has been rightfully chosen as the Arab world’s most powerful personality. King Salman has also ranked in at the 14th position on the Forbes magazine’s worldwide influential personalities list. The list had been published just a few days ago on Wednesday. This is the third year in a row that Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia has been ranked as the world’s most powerful man. Putin has been placed above the chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, and also the President of the United States of America, Barrack Obama.

Forbes magazine has also gone on to say that Putin is continuously proving that he is one of those very few men in this world, who have enough power to do whatever it is that they want to do. Forbes listed the world’s most powerful woman as Chancellor Merkel of Germany. Merkel also rose up 3 points from 5th most powerful person to 2nd most powerful person. She has had a very strong and supportive stance while dealing with the huge inflow of Refugees due to the Syria crisis. She has also managed to tackle the Greek financial crisis successfully. This year was however not at all lucky for the POTUS more commonly known as Barack Obama, as he has lost a great amount of power and influence in his final days as POTUS. The Forbes magazine has however still listed the USA as the world’s greatest Military, diplomatic, economic, cultural and technological power.

The women and men who have been featured on Forbes annual ranking of the Most Powerful people in earth belong to the 0.00000001% or more commonly known as the global elite whose acts and plans shape the current events and future. The magazine states that these financiers, entrepreneurs, heads of state and philanthropists are truly running the world. Forbes has been considering hundreds of candidate hailing from the various regions of the world and has been based around 4 set criteria. The first takes into account the influence the individual has over a large body of people, such as the Pope Francis or King Salman. Pope Francis ranked in as the 4th most powerful person in the world.

The second criteria for the selection of the individual takes into account the financial condition of the candidate. In this case the heads of state would be compared in accordance to the GDP of their respective countries and the CEOs were compared in accordance to their company revenues. Their personal financial assets were also taken into consideration for selections. This has helped several people jump places on the list and Bill Gates also managed to make the sixth spot in the list.

Well the King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman is truly a leader adored and admired by the people under his rule and in his time as King, people have clearly seen reforms and progress in the Kingdom which has guaranteed the Saudi King Salman a place in the top of the list.
