5 Harmful Effects Microwaves have on your Food

We all have done this one thing in common which we didn’t know is a health hazard that we have willingly brought into our homes. The issue I am talking about today is the use of microwaves in nearly 99 percent of the households. Using a microwave to heat your food is a serious health hazard. Have you never wondered how weird and truly amazing it is, that in a few clicks or button press’ you can make cold leftovers into a hot meal. It is very fast and extremely simple indeed. However have you never thought about how it is that the microwave machine actually works, how can it get so hot in such a short period of time, what it does to the food? There are several studies which you can see which prove that using a microwave is dangerous and a risk to the health of everyone who is consuming food heated in a microwave. If you think that these reasons are concerning, then get rid of your microwave as soon as possible.

  1. Microwaves are known to destroy breast milk as well as Vitamin B12. Heating the breast milk in the microwave will cause harmful bacteria to grow, causing a health hazard to your infant. Additionally foods such as milk or beef lose around 30 to 40 percent of the total available B12 Vitamins available in them, when they are heated in a microwave.  If the breast milk is heated to a high temperature in the microwave it is 18 times more likely that it will be containing E Coli.
  2. The microwave also zaps all the nutrients out of the food, turning them into harmful substances which are extremely difficult for the human body is processed, regardless how fresh, healthy and nutritious the food was prior to putting it in the microwave to heat. This happens as the nutrient content of the food changes as it is being heated in a microwave altering the molecular structure of the food.
  3. All those of us who consume microwave heated food are consuming food which is high in cholesterol and also causes white blood cell levels to increase. When you eat microwave heated vegetables or drink microwave heated milk, then your blood cells will decrease.
  4. Microwaves are a leading creator of carcinogens. There are several harmful substances and toxins which are contained in these plastic containers which are used to heat our food up instantly. Toluene, polyethylene, BPA and Benzene are all released by these chemicals into the food we heat. These dangerous toxins are then ingested and consumed by us via our microwave heated food.
  5. Microwaves can greatly affect your health and can immediately affect the heart rate with the radiation which is emitted by the microwaves. These radiations from the microwave can result in;
