Madinah Governor ordered free special treatment for an Asian Expatriate

Governor of Madinah Prince Faisal bin Salman has officially taken special interest in the case of an Asian expat Othman Al-Arkani. This person is actually suffering from a very fatal and serious disease called Elephantiasis. Elephantiasis is a symptom of multiple diseases in which patient's body part starts swelling into a greater massive proportions. Since many years, this Elephantiasis patient Othman Al-Arkani was suffering, but now this patient needs and requires immediate treatment under special care at any good specialist hospital.



Governor of Madinah, Prince Faisal bin Salman took an immediate step and sent an official message to the concerned authorities for the treatment of Elephantiasis patient "Othman Al- Arkani. Due to goodwill of Madinah Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman, the message was accepted urgently and the case study started, providing immediate necessary treatment to the patient on urgent basis. Doctor’s panel was setup on immediate basis. According to the specified treatment plan, doctor’s panel started to provide special medical treatment to him. This immediate treatment and care will be provided by doctors for one month and it will extend over three more additional level or stages.



Othman Al-Arkani is 35 years old by age. Othman Al-Arkani’s profession is teaching. He teaches at a Qur’an school under a mosque in the Al-Badr region which is located in Madinah.  The Royal Court of Saudi Arabia stated the order expeditiously. The court order stated that "The elephantiasis patient, Othman Al-Arkani must be admitted at hospital called King Abdullah Medical City for treatment".  Othman Al-Arkanial was also blessed with other relations. He is a father of one child. He admires the efforts of Doctors and treatment care of hospital “King Abdullah Medical City ". Othman Al-Arkani is pretty much thankful for the kindness of Madinah Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman. 



His thinking is very optimistic, and positive. After the generous approval for his treatment, Al-Arkani now holds cheerful thoughts and an auspicious approach towards his life for his treatment.  Al-Arkani's father passed away because of this same disease as he could not get any treatment eight years ago. Due to lack of sufficient treatment, his father was no more with him, but hopefully, Al-Arkani can enjoy his life with his child because of proper treatment by doctors and special care in King Abdullah Medical City hospital.



Humanitarian and Saudi government’s role in Al-Arkani’s case was much appreciated in social media and print media. Because of rapid response for the treatment of non-Saudi by Madinah Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman, social activist Abdul Manea Al-Ajmi also stated appreciation for the governor and his humanitarian role. Al-Arkani , being an elephantiasis patient, was not able to move or do any kind of movements just because of so much amount of weight around his feet. He has been housebound for years.
